More storms tonight in Birmingham, Alabama.

It has been a busy day with heavy showers and t’storms.  Severe flooding has been reported in places like Helene, Pelham, parts of Talladega and Blount counties.  Also, a tornado watch will continue until 8pm for western areas including Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Pickens, Greene, and Hale counties.  I suspect we will see more storms develop in eastern Mississippi in the next couple of hours and they will move into Alabama overnight.  An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out with additional heavy rainfall, causing additional flooding in some areas.
